Alexi Bloom, MD, FACS
Dr. Alexi Bloom is a Philadelphia-based, board-certified surgeon specializing in Trauma and Acute Care surgery as well as Surgical Critical Care within the Jefferson Health and Einstein Healthcare networks. She has built the Robotic Acute Care Surgery practice at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia, and her elective general surgery practice has a heavy focus in robotic hernia repair. She is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of medicine with surgical training at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Husayn A. Ladhani, MD
Dr. Sany Thomas
Sany Thomas, MBBCH, DABOM is the director of adolescent bariatric surgery as well as a bariatric and minimally invasive and foregut surgeon at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Dr. Thomas was born and raised in South Africa. She completed medical school at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. After immigrating to America, she completed general surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. She is a board-certified general surgeon and member of numerous national societies including the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Thomas is passionate about improving the patient experience in surgery and has a special focus on foregut surgery. In addition to her love of her work, Dr. Thomas is an avid traveler and foodie.

Dr. Julia Coleman, MD
Julia R. Coleman, M.D., M.P.H., graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Biology from Elon University and then received her Master’s in Public Health from The Ohio State University. She was subsequently awarded her Medical Degree from University of Toledo College of Medicine before completing General Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at The Ohio State University. Dr. Coleman is now an Assistant Professor at OSU in the Trauma, Critical Care, and Burn Division, where she has a robust robotically-based EGS and elective general surgery practice and leads a research team focused on clinical outcomes of robotics in EGS.
